Refund Policy

1. One-Time Payment
Wedding Story Invites charges a one-time fee of ₹1,999 (Indian Rupees) to publish your wedding invite. This is not a subscription — there are no recurring charges, hidden fees, or renewal payments. You pay once and your invite stays live for as long as you need it.
2. What You Get
Once your payment is confirmed, you receive:
- •A published invite link you can share with guests via WhatsApp, SMS, or any channel
- •Unlimited guest views — no per-view charges
- •Full edit access — update names, dates, photos, events anytime after publishing
- •All template features including parallax animations, music player, countdown, and more
- •WhatsApp-optimised link preview with your invite photo
3. Refund Policy
This policy exists because:
- •The service is delivered instantly — your invite goes live the moment payment is verified
- •Digital goods and services cannot be "returned" once delivered
- •You have full access to preview your invite before paying — the builder shows exactly how your invite will look
This policy is in accordance with the Consumer Protection (E-Commerce) Rules, 2020, which recognise that digital goods delivered immediately are exempt from standard return policies.
4. Exceptions
We may offer a refund at our discretion in the following exceptional circumstances:
- •Technical failure: Your payment was processed successfully but your invite failed to publish due to a technical error on our end
- •Duplicate charge: You were charged twice for the same invite
To request a refund under these exceptions, email us at hello@weddingstoryinvites.com within 7 days of the payment. Include your registered email address and a description of the issue. We will investigate and respond within 5 business days.
5. Cancellation
You can delete your invite at any time from your dashboard. Deleting an invite immediately deactivates the link (guests will see a 404 page). However, deleting a published invite does not entitle you to a refund, as the service was already delivered at the time of payment.
Deleted invites and their associated photos are permanently purged from our systems after 30 days.
